* Never a single mechanical failure on this unit with the exception of replacing the throttle cable.
* Original cost was $4,500 U.S.

This unit is in great working condition. We've kept it serviced every year, even though we rarely use it. It was originally purchased about 17 years ago with the intent of cultivating rows in our Nursery for weed control. We only ended up using it for rows in about a 1/10 acre bed of Burning Bush, as that was about the time we had also begun using Roundup and other pre-emergent herbicides to control weeds (Burning Bush are sesitive to many herbicides). Although we've serviced it annually to make sure all is working, we only put about an hour on it each year now.
I simply can't justify keeping this unit around when I don't use it. It looks almost like new. The photos above were scanned from the manual, but you won't be disappointed. Other than some usual scratches over the years, and rust on the muffler (it does not need replaced), it looks nearly new. The paint is barely faded because it's always been stored inside. I've seen other equipment that was 3 years old that looked ancient compared to this. You may check it out or try it out at our location. I am confident it will exceed your expectations.
ClARIFICATION ON LISTING! Wanted to clarify an error on the listing. I just remembered that I have been using the hand throttle provided at the engine for several years now, because the throttle cable that I replaced did not last. I didn't replace it again because it was just as well to operate from the hand throttle lever provided on the engine. The transmission has a clutch, so it's not as though throttle adjustment is necessary for operation. I forgot this until today, sorry. In addition, replacing a throttle cable is fairly simple, I just don't use the machine enough to have taken the time to do
