USED: APV single effect Paravap rising film evaporator, model R86, 316 stainless steel. Approximate feed rate 10,000 pounds/hour, product rate 9412 pounds/hour, evaporation rate 588 pounds/hour. System consists of (1) APV R86 plate heat exchanger, (1) approximate 150 gallon separator tank, (1) approximate 75 gallon feed balance tank, (1) Crepaco 450 gallon jacketed surge tank rated 75 psi, (1) approximate 250 square foot shell and tube heat exchanger, shell rated 75 psi at 95 deg F, tubes 30" hg at 140 deg F, (1) Sihi vacuum pump, (1) approximate 1700 gallon carbon steel holding tank, (3) Tri Clover positive displacement pumps, (6) centrifugal pumps, (1) frame/base, misc piping, valves and panels. Last used with corn syrup.
