However, lumen rating is not, while a high mcd rating LED is bright at certain point of a LED(machine measure 1-5point of the LED epoxy head for mcd rating number), a High lumen LED will bright a wide area and this is why high power LED use lumen not mcd. 99.999% High mcd formula has a weak point: their mcd will drop dramatically over time used.
