American & Union made Firefighters Hose Strap / Belt and Rescue Webbing.
Each strap is manufactured to exact L&I standards per WAC 296-305
* 1" tubular webbing with a tensile strength of 4300 pounds
* 4" overlap sewn ends, with heavy duty polyester thread.
* Comes equiped with an Omega aluminum locking carabiner (meets NFPA 1983 standards, 6000 pound)
The Heavy Duty Hose Strap allows a firefighter to support the back pressure from a 2.5 inch or 3 inch hose, and is ideal for rural fire departments that typically run short crews. By securing one end of the strap around the hose with a simple larks foot, the remaining loop is placed around the opposite shoulder. Your shoulder supports the back half of the hose allowing you to easily flow water while maintaining control.
The Type II hose strap comes equiped with an aluminum locking carabiner that is useful in many situations. Whether it's RIT application, securing a quick anchor point or simply hauling tools up a ladder, the quick locking aluminum caribiner makes it a breeze.
Straps are available in bright yellow or red, please specify your color of choice when purchasing.
