3M Speedglas Utility Helmet with Auto-Darkening Filter, 04-0014-10U/37119(AAD) Shade 10 1/Case
An entry-level auto-darkening filter and helmet especially designed for MIG (GMAW) and stick (SMAW) welding only. Perfect for the part-time welder, as well as for maintenance welding and any other MIG or stick project.
* The 3M Speedglas Utility Helmet is made from chemical and heat-resistant nylon and weighs only 17.1 oz (486 g), including the auto-darkening filter. The filter has a 3.57 in x 1.68 in (91mm x 43mm) viewing area. Average battery life of 2000 hours. The filter turns itself off 30 minutes after the last detected arc. The operating temperature range is 23 to 131F (-5 to 55C). It has a dark shade of 10, a light shade of 3 and an off (fail-safe) state of nominal shade 5.
