The Sony SSCDC-80 color surveillance camera has a large 1/2" color CCD, records 480 lines of resolution, and is loaded with a host of manual and automatic settings to maintain video quality and color accuracy in all kinds of operational environments. Unique to this camera is a feature called Gamma Curve which enables the camera to self adjust to different lighting conditions, ensuring highly detailed images in various light levels. The SSCDC-80 camera also has a feature where it will sound an alarm if it detects any unusual activity in a normally placid picture. The camera accepts C/CS and DC/video auto iris lenses and uses a BNC or S-video for interfacing to a monitor or VCR.
The camera records a high resolution of 480 TV lines even when light levels reach a low 0.4-lux, and uses numerous automatic and manual settings to tackle any lighting environment and color temperature.
The camera uses four presets and two user definable setting to self adjust to different light levels throughout a 24 hour period, ensuring highly detailed, true color images at all times.
• Activity Detection Function
The camera has a feature where it will set off a visual and audible alarm when it detects unusual activity in the video image.
The camera has the ability to mask and block out two areas of the video for legal or privacy reasons. These masks can be adjusted in height and width.
