Magnets of this size and strength can pull metals objects to them when brought too close.
Two magnets of this size will fly together with great force and can easily pinch fingers and skin. DO NOT allow children to play with these magnets. They are simply too strong. Also, even though these magnets are coated with tough nickel metal, all neodymium magnets can chip and break. The larger the magnet, the easier this can happen.
These Neodymium Iron Boron magnets are also known as "Rare Earth" or NdFeB magnets. Neodymium magnets are simply incredible!
They are far more powerful than those old horseshoe magnets most of us grew up with.
What can these magnets be used for?
Honestly, I like to simply play with them, but these magnets have many practical uses as well. Use them on the fridge. Put them to work in the tool shed.
Use them as fasteners on cabinetry. They are great for science experiments. These magnets are great for Bismuth or Pyrolytic Graphite levitation experiments as well.
