Our Decibel Meter Meets the following world body standard:
The picture above shows an LCD screen protected by a removable protective film, which you can remove to reveal a crystal clear picture screen when you have installed the visor.
The USB port allows you to upload sound decibel data from the handset to your PC. It also allows your handset to send realtime data from your handset to your PC as shown below.

Or you can monitor sound level "real time" from your PC when the handset is connected to your PC via the USB cable.
Selectable Variable Measurement Range:
User gets to choose Fast / Slow recording in handset. In slow recording mode, user can record data for 24 hours. In fast recording mode, user can record data for 8 hours.
Handset comes with decibel data storage feature. User can upload stored data to a PC via USB cable (included)
When connected to a PC, the handset will transmit real time decibel level data to the PC and user can store the data in the PC for almost infinite amount of time, as long as your hard disk and windows operating system can support a huge file.
This handset has auto-shut down feature to conserve battery power. Please note that in order to let the handset run continuously to record dB level over a prolong period of time (more than 10 minutes), you will need to use an external power supply and plug into the 6V socket shown in the picture below. This external power supply is not included in the package. Please note that if the handset is connected to a PC via the USB cable, you do NOT need this external power supply since your PC will provide the electrical power to your handset and it will stay on all the time, even when there is no battery inside the handset.
Software permits user to set warning alarm when the sound falls below the minimum dB permitted or goes higher than the maximum dB permitted by the user.
User can record data with date/time synchronized to user's PC date/time.
