Please educate yourself and be aware of pitch based carbon fiber. This type of carbon fiber is being sold as "high quality carbon fiber", generating this perception that this carbon fiber is the same as the high quality Toray T300 and up PAN based. Pitch based carbon fiber is low quality and is priced low at ~$20/yard. This is what is "profitable to sell" in these times where real pan based high quality carbon fiber is so hard to find, in this climate of worldwide shortages of carbon fiber cloth/fabric. You do get what you pay for $.
All Carbon fiber cloth that I have/sell is PAN based, made by either Sigmatex, Hexel, or BGF.
This listing is for ultra strong, tight weave, M46JB, 5HS weave, 6K , 40" wide roll that is 53 yards long. This is a really high modulus strength cloth/fiber. This is M46J toray fibers, that have a high tensile modulus of 63.3 MSI (33.4 MSI being the standard T300 fiber). This represents a 89% increase in stiffness !!!
This high modulus is created while still increasing the tensile strentgh to 583 KSI from the standard T300 512 KSI!.
The weave is 5HS Satin, which is great for doing curves. It is 6k cloth and is 8.3 oz per sq yard or 285g sq.metre.
This material in this weight and weave is pretty tough to get a hold of.
