BASIC ELECTRICITY MATHEMATICS:
This reviews the mathematics you need to understand the basic operating principles of guided missile systems and electronic and radar circuits. Covered are algebra, logarithms, trigonometry, and vector algebra.
BASIC PRINCIPLES OF ALTERNATING CURRENT & DIRECT CURRENT:
This publication covers the basics of direct current and alternating current. It introduces the physical properties of electricity and electromagnetism and describes how electricity is produced, stored, distributed, and used. This publication also identifies important safety practices to follow when working with electricity.
BASIC SCHEMATIC INTERPRETATION:
This subcourse presents basic schematic interpretation in three parts. Part A identifies basic symbols used in circuit schematics. Part B discusses typical component characteristics and their functional use within a circuit. Part C describes the methods to determine reference designators and the procedures for wire tracing in a circuit. Part C also includes a wire tracing exercise.
