This is the nicest PSM-6 I have had the pleasure to refurbish with this type of movement! And, I have reduced the price to make way for more arrivals.
From the words scratched into the lower right portion of the face plate, I would suspect this meter was once used in an Air Force motor pool or in one of the work areas set aside for repair of personal automobiles on most AF bases.
I am going to leave it in vintage paint (Machine Gray). I have cleaned it completely, replaced all the seals and installed new stainless steel hardware throughout. It has been calibrated to T.O. 33A1-12-2-4.
It is FULLY FUNCTIONAL for all functions in all ranges!
This means that all five ohms ranges are completely operational.
A tested set of bayonet probes as well as a new current shunt and hi-voltage prod are also included inside the matching protective cover - see the last photo.
As usual with my meters, you will receive the official USAF operations manual and the final test spreadsheet for your specific serial number noting the exact deviation from the calibration standard (click the site below for an example).
