Spatter Shield is a break through in welding technology and one of the best kept secrets. Spatter Shield is an in-line system which, by atomizing a unique fluid into the shielding gas flow, reduces the effect of spatter adhesion. Fits easily on all standard manual MIG and Robot Welders.

Spatter Shield reduces the effect of spatter adhesion to the project surface. The result being: less time wasted on the cleaning and finishing of the weld application. Also, when utilized within optimum parameters, Spatter Shield can extend the life of the torch nozzle by up to 4.5 times, and the life of the contact tip by up to 6 times. i.e. reductions in downtime and saving at the bottom line!!!
The Spatter Shield unit consists of 2 components, a probe and a fluid dispenser, and fits into the existing system. The fluid is compatible with CO2, Argon, Argon Based Mixtures, Helium, Hydrogen and is suitibale for: Carbon Steel, Galvanized Steel, Stainless Steel, Cast Iron, Silicon Bronze Welding, and Hard Facing.
