Here's something that every person who uses the TM500 series power modules should have in their paperless library!
A feature of the TM500 series is that by directly connecting the correct pins internally on the plug-in back plane, many of the plug-in modules can communicate directly with each other without front panel connections. The TM500 REAR INTERFACE DATA BOOK provides detailed information on making such connections. This reference contains detailed information by Plug-in module, function for function, pin for pin. This really is a must have for anyone using the TM500 series.
Two PDFs of the document are provided, in two resolutions. One is:
Text-only pages scanned at 300dpi minimum
Pages with photos at 600dpi (minimum) 256 shade grayscale with contrast individually adjusted in prescan(s) of every page.
You also get a second scan, done in resolutions that vary depending on individual page content, but are never higher than needed to produce a useable quality, quickly navigable text-searchable document that will do the job without consuming more time and resources than are needed.
Both high resolution and the text-searchable "resource" resolution PDF are fully-bookmarked and completely hyperlinked, and have both the chapter-page and the sequential page numbering systems.
The Power Supplies Circuits document is sent in the fast, lower-res "resource" size. It's completely readable and it's good information for anyone doing custom work with these power modules, and in fact has some pretty good power supply info for just about everybody! The other "bonus" publications are also in the "fast" format, and are completely readable, text-searchable, and very nice to have. The 1977 TM500 Brochure is truly entertaining reading for anyone who loves these instruments and of course we all need the mainframe service manual PDFs and the semiconductor parts cross reference. All good stuff, and all included!
