These heavy duty omni directional colinear ground plane antennas work great as a Base Station Antenna for the Amateur radio 2 meter band, VHF Marine, MURS, VHF MARS, and all other Public and Private Radio Communication Service operating in the VHF (136.00-172.00 Mhz.) RF spectrum. It works for all modes Digital or Analog, Voice, Data or Video. They are made from aircraft grade Aluminum and Stainless Steel, the hermetically sealed coil housings are made from UV and impact resistant ABS plastic. They offer great gain in a easy to assemble rugged package that will suit most needs for a dependable VHF communications antenna
