This is a military style MCU-2/P equivalent (while not the latest military model, it's identical to the one I had overseas) "effective against:

Please read the instructions completely so that you understand that your mask must be inspected and fit-tested prior to you trusting your life to it.
The Part Number for the included canister is 818262, its expiration date is marked as 1207. It also says that the canister should be replaced with 818263's.
The shelf life of the mask isn't indicated on the item or the included paperwork. I know that the military doesn't throw them away nor deem them ineffective after 5 years. My last one was between 10-15 years old and still worked great. If you have any doubts, please contact the manufacturer.
