This is a used (but Excellent!) Motorola Remote Speaker Mic / Microphone / shoulder mic for the HT1000 radio and many other Motorola radios (see list below). It is a genuine Motorola remote speaker mic. According to Motorola's website, this mic is intrinsically safe with the following radios: Astro Digital XTS3000, XTS3500, XTS5000, Astro Digital XTS2500, HT1000, HT 1000, JT1000, MT2000, MTS2000, MTX8000, MTX838, MTX9000, and MTX-LS.
