Here we have an original reprint of an original Marvel-Schebler Carburetor (they spell it carbureter) manual Index...It is dated from around the early 50's I think and covers a bunch of different tractors, cars, trucks, and engines, and aircraft, that used Marvel Carbs...Check out my other manuals for Zenith and a nice Marvel aircraft Carburetor manual...
This manual is about 17 pages full of info about all the different carbs such as the updraft models hu, hf, and hc, the MA series for aircraft engines such as franklin, lycoming, Continental etc...It covers the tsv, tsx, and DLTX models which were popular on John Deere tractors...It also has the VH horizontal and VD downdraft and TSV updraft for industrial applications...
There are a bunch of references to the usual tractor suspects including a boatload of John Deere, Allis-Chalmers, Massey, Oliver, IHC, and more...
There is also a section referencing the automotive apps going back to the 20's...I've heard of REO, but who was Rockne and Terraplane...??? and many others you never hear of anymore...
