SSI20C90 dtmf transceiver ic encoder decoder nos 20C90
This is a DTMF (Touch Tone) transceiver IC, New Old Stock, manufactured by Silicon Systems Inc. in the 1980's. I evaluated DTMF receiver ICs in the 1980's and Silicon Systems made the best performing devices when considering dynamic range and voice immunity.

* DTMF Receiver exhibits excellent speech immunity
* Analog input range from -32 to -2 dBm (ref 600W)
* Three-state outputs (4-bit hexadecimal) from DTMF Receiver
* AC coupled, internally biased analog input
* Latched DTMF Generator inputs
* DTMF output typ. -8 dBm (Low Band) and -5.5 dBm (High Band)
* Easy interface for microprocessor dialing
* Uses inexpensive 3.579545 MHz crystal for reference
Silicon Systems became TDK Semiconductor and the TDK sucessor part to the SSI20C90 is the 75T2090. I no longer have any data sheets for the SSI20C90 but the datasheet for the TDK 75T2090 can be downloaded here. I believe the pinouts are the same.
