This is a NEW MKS HPS Vacuum Sentry safety valve with KF-40 flanges and 120 V solenoid valve.
* MKS HPS part number 145-0040K-120V/60
* 120 VAC, 60 Hz solenoid valve
* This valve is expressly designed to:
1. isolate a vacuum system from a mechanical pump in the event of an electrical power failure
2. vent the inlet of the rotary pump
3. return to normal configuration once electrical power has been restored and the mechanical pump inlet is again under vacuum
