This is a very complete Victoreen Civil Defense model CD V-777-3 Radiation Detection Set in good condition. These parts were purchased from government surplus and were last calibrated between 1988 and 1999. We opened the box and the meters are all in good condition inside, having been stored without batteries installed. The boxes and parts may have some minor shelf-wear but they were not subjected to abuse. There is some minor variation in the types of meter faces.
* THREE Victoreen CD V-715 Radiological Survey Meters (Gamma-ray Geiger counters). Detection ranges are 0-0.5r/hr (safe), 0-5r/hr (mostly safe), 0-50r/hr (you'll get sick at this level), 0-500r/hr (lethal) These rugged meters are made of drawn steel and cast aluminum, are sealed and should float.
* Three CD V-750 Radiological Dosimeter Chargers
* One manual for the Dosimeter Chargers
* FEMA publication MP-72 "How to Use Your Radiological Instruments to Find the Best Shelter and Minimize Your Exposure to Radiation"
* All of the above in the original Civil Defense packaging (like that shown), to be packed inside another, padded box.
No dosimeters are included
