Methodically manufactured to meet the requirements of AWS A5.9
ER308L is used for welding types 304, 304L, 308, 308L stainless steel. It is very similar to ER308, but has a carbon content held to a maximum of 0.03% to avoid carbon precipitation. This product can also be used to weld types 312 and 347 stainless.
This wire is manufactured either in the U.S. or Europe (depending on run). If they start substituting Chinese or Taiwanese stuff, I won't sell it anymore.
