We've kept several important attributes of the HMD904's predecessor and made it better because:
It has a new, more powerful motor so you can drill large holes without stalling deep in the cut.
The cost of motor wear replacement parts has been lowered by 1/3 over the old style motor.
The new magnetic design increases the drill point breakaway to 820 lb.
The weight has been lowered to just 27.5 lb.
The drilling capacity is increased to 1-1/2" diameter with a 2" depth-of-cut.
New ergonomic handles improve operator efficiency.
The HMD904 can be converted into a portable machine shop with Hougen's variety of accessories and uses Rotabroach "12,000-Series" Cutters.
