Kao Ming KMR-980S Radial Arm Drill Press. This machine is in nearly new condition. Frame is made of Meehaniter and high tensile strength cast iron to handle the heaviest of jobs. Built to withstand exceptionally heavy drilling and boring loads and to insure maximum accuracy. The spindle is made of case hardened steel for extra strength and wear. The spindle is supported by double row taper roller and thrust ball bearings at the nose, with thrust and radial axis bearings at the top. The power train gears and spline shafts are made of the finest quality, heat treated and ground nickel chrome steel - giving extra strength and smoothness to high torque loads. Counter balanced mechanism for spindle return. The spindle is a Morse #4 Taper. 8†Column. 21 x 16 x 16 box table. Power elevation and coolant system. 3 horsepower motor, 220/440 volt.
