These pins and locks are designed for items that are valuable and will be in storage for a long period of time or will be in an area where they are out of sight or un-guarded. They would be great for tool sheds, fertilizer tanks or grain bins, trailers etc. When you slide the lock on the pin it is a permanent lock and must be cut off by a bolt cutter, torch etc. If you purchase, do not check if it works as you will lock it on and it will be ruined. The white lock is steel and coated with plastic, so you can see evidence of tampering. You will receive a bag of ten. Thanks
