Automatic Diamond Particle Wet Size Classifier
This unit was retired from a local super abrasive manufacturer. This unit divides a diamond mixture into 6 different streams. Its 3 non agitated tubs are labelled 6 micron, 9 micron, and 15 micron, its 3 agitated tubs are labelled 4.5 micron and finer, 7.5 micron, and 15 micron.
It is equipped with a deionized water tank with temperature control. A dispersion agent tank with metering pump. The main slurry tank is equipped with an agitator, position controllable dip tube, and a spin table
The machine can be run in manual mode in which each of the valves and mixers can be switched from the front panel, or in automatic mode where the components are controlled by a Misubishi Mel Sec PLC. Most components seem to be Japanese, suggesting that the machine was mfd in Japan. Original mfg date seems to be 1989.
The unit runs on 120 volt AC, it powers up when the power is connected. The plc boots up, but I don't have info on how to run the automatic program. Each of the valves, agitators etc works when controlled in manual mode.
Thanks for looking, let me know if you have any questions.
