RN Series are designed for tabletop use and modularity is the key word. The RN series consists of four maincomponents: modular power head, cast column, cast base and controller. Our flexible design means components can be eliminated to better suit your application. Each tabletop unit is complete with with pneumatic valving or hydraulic power unit. Light touch dual palm buttons in an ergonomic housing minimize operator fatigue.
That is because, unlike impact or orbital forming, radial forming uniformly displaces material in three directions by kneading microscopic amounts of material radially outward, radially inward and tangentially overlapping.
An Explanation of Radial Forming and Its Advantages

Orbital forming displaces material at varying rates, when examined outward from a part's center
At center, minimum material is displaced. as distance from the center increases, so does material displacement. This uneven rate of material flow leads to inconsistent flow patterns.

Radial forming is highly versatile in its ability to form ferrous and non-ferrous metals, die cast materials and case-hardened fasteners.
