Brodhead-Garret 12" swing by 39" between centers woodworking lathe. Continuously variable speed spindles that can be shifted on the go from 630-3450 RPM. Both headstock and tailstock spindles use standard Morse Taper #2 tooling. The headstock spindle is threaded for 1 1/8" x 8tpi faceplates and accessories.
This machine has a single phase 1hp 110v Baldor motor controlled by a General Electric magnetic starter with a large mushroom off button. It has new sealed ball bearings on the spindle unit. Accessories included are 8" faceplate, 4, 6, and 12" toolrests, 90 degree bowl turning tool rest, spurred drive center, cup tailstock center, and full overhead guard with clear shield.
