This service and operations manual covers the Tektronix Type Q Oscilloscope Plugin. The document is scanned from the original manufacturer's manual. The scans came out well, and all information available in the original manual is available here.
Two PDFs of the manual are provided, in two resolutions. One is:
Text pages scanned at 300dpi (minimum)
Text with Drawings at 600dpi black and white or greyscale (content dependent)
Schematics at 600dpi black and white
Any schematics, board overlays w/color at 300dpi 16M colors
The large resolution file is fully bookmarked, extensively hyperlinked, and has both the chapter-page ("electronic manual page numbers match paper manual page numbers") and the sequential page numbering systems. The smaller, faster "bench-use resolution" file is text-searchable.
The streamlined PDF, which is provided in addition to the large resolution PDF, is done in resolutions that vary depending on individual page content, but are never higher than needed to produce a useable quality, quickly navigable file that will do the job without consuming more time and resources than are needed.
I send you both resolutions on the CD. You'll receive the large file, plus the smaller, faster version. That way, you can navigate, search and etceteras with the fast file and only use the large file when you want to print. All original manual pages are supplied in both resolutions, with no pages added or subtracted.
The single foldout page is supplied as A4 (8-1/2x11") pages within the "main" manual for ease of printing, and is also supplied in a separate "foldout.pdf" document in A3 (17x11") for they who prefer that. The pages can be printed as needed or the information taken directly from the computer screen.
