The Zurn #101410 EG-400 Pre-Setting Unit is suitable for pre-setting many types of tooling for Machining Centres, CNC Lathes and most Milling and Turning machines. The rigid modular construction of the unit provides stable setting conditions and all components are hardened with precision-ground slideways.

· Spindle Head: A standard spindle head allows utilization of interchangeable adapter pots which are easily inserted into the spindle head and retained by a handwheel type nut. A lever-operated pad bolt enables the rotating adapter to be locked in any desired radial position. Adapters are accurately produced and are completely interchangeable with any EG-400 unit spindle head.
· Measuring Cross Slide: Can be locked in any position along the bed of the unit. Supplied with a digital readout unit (resolution .01mm)
· Longitudinal Slide: A digital readout unit (resolution .01mm) is supplied as standard for length reading. The adapter pot face serves as the location face for the tool holder or is equivalent to the gauge line on the ISO adapters.
The EG-400 Pre-Setter comes with the following accessories:

· (1) #132410 Model A-412 Taper Spindle Adapter for CV40 or BT40.
