This Motorola STX Smartnet 800 radio has been pre-programmed to the receive the 32 most used Police and fire 800 mhz, Frequency's as a scanner in the receive mod only, SO YOU CAN START USEING IT AT ONCE AFTER YOU RECEIVE THE RADIO! We can program in 800 mhz conventional Frequency's in for free 1 through 32. See programming policy, this radio will transmit and receive, it is not just a receive only radio but can be used on any Motorola tpye II Smatnet/Zone systems!
