This basic service package includes my standard 6 month limited warranty which includes calibration!
This Service includes all the following:
* All electrolytic capacitors are replaced
* All paper type capacitors replaced
* Any bad .5 watt carbon resistor will be replaced
* All fuse lamps and bulbs are checked
* All switches and tube sockets checked, clean and tighten as required
* AC line voltage meter checked for accuracy
* DC bias meter checked for accuracy
* Main Gm meter operations checked for sticking, zero set and full scale sensitivity
* Short / leakage circuits checked
* Both the 5Y3GT and #83 tubes are tested
* The VR functions and related components are tested
* The waveform symmetry and bridge balance operation is tested
I will perform a full and correct detailed calibration of all circuits and operations.
The bridge circuit will be balanced correctly and all Gm ranges will be checked and calibrated.
In addition a lightly front/top panel and case cleaning is performed.
I will provide a modern operation instruction manual with each unit repaired from this offer.
You will get a full estimate before any work is performed on the tester so you will know exactly what is required and the actual cost involved before you incur any additional costs.
Typical turn around is generally 2 to 3 weeks at this time.
