3 lead safety containers for radioactive substances

They are made of lead. Each one consists of two parts: larger and smaller half-cylinders going one into another.
The total dimesions of a closed container are D:40 mm x H:50 mm. Total weight 8 ounces
The larger half-cylinder has dimensions: H:50mm x D:40mm x Depth:49mm x Wall thickness:1mm
The smaller half-cylinder has dimensions: H:49mm x D:38mm : Depth:48mm x Wall thickness:1mm. It also has two eccentric pins outside and inside the flat part of the cylinder. they are 4mm high and 7mm from the edge of the circle. When the container is closed, the outside pin serves as a handle to pull and open the container. Because the walls are quite thin and lead is a very soft metal, in two out of three containers the fit between large and small cylinders is a bit tight and one has to use forceps or small pliers to grab the pin and open the container. Probably, by rubbing cylinders in one another for a few times will work out the surfaces and they will be opening more smoothly. In the third container, the fit is perfect and it opens easily and smoothly without any effort.
Used to transport the isotopes of S35, P32, P33, I125 and some others.
They are clean, the wipes are taken and shown normal background. Good to store isotopes, small radioactive minerals or Geiger counter calibration standards.
