NEW HMC Electronics K250-5/8 Standard Kapton Tape, 5/8" Wide, 36-yd. Roll
This high-temperature film tape is used for electrical and thermal insulation and, in particular, in the masking of gold fingers on circuit boards during wave soldering. Also protects bar code labels, which are subjected to high temperatures. Amber, 2.5-mil thick tape has a heat-resistant silicone adhesive that withstands temperatures up to 500°F. Burning of adhesive forms a non-conductive ash. Tape has excellent dielectric strength, mechanical and electrical properties, and flame and chemical resistance. Outstanding cut-through, impact, and abrasion resistance. Comes on 36-yard rolls.
