LANcat System 6 will Test Cat5 Cat5e & Cat6 Up To 250 MHz
LANcat System 6 fully complies with EIA/TIA TSB-67 Category 5 and ISO/IEC Class D cable testing requirements, with accuracy exceeding Level II requirements. It will support the latest network protocols utilizing all four pairs such as Gigabit Ethernet and ATM 622. Measurements include Power Sum NEXT and Power Sum ACR to 100 MHz, plus Propagation Delay, Delay Skew, and CAT 5 headroom margin. LinkTalk is a feature that provides voice communication over the cables under test. Included is a built-in microphone, individual earphone, volume control, and call alert signal. The standard 1/8" jack on the handset allows the use of any earpiece in the event the original is lost or broken. LANcat System 6 can test beyond the proposed CAT 6/Class E frequencies of 200MHz and provide performance verification of Enhanced CAT 5 and Gigabit cabling performance to 250MHz. Both systems can store 1000 autotests, come with Report Management Software to download results to your PC.
