Tektronix Parts Cross References and Other Parts Info
Tek-Made Integrated Circuits Catalog in PDF on CD
1. The Semiconductor Parts Cross Reference Catalog:
Click HERE for a sample PDF with one page from each chapter. The sample PDF pages are extracted directly from the document you'll receive. The sample PDF is over a megabyte in size so please give it time to load.
The item title is "Semiconductors Common Design Parts Catalog." It has 16 chapters (see below) and is over 400 pages of valuable parts information. Published by Tekronix in Oct 1982, this has information on parts still used all the way up to 1990+. This is a very valuable resource for translating a Tek part number to a regular part number. Pin outs for many of the devices are shown. Device specs/dwgs for all parts starting with pt no's 150-xxxx-0x, 151-xxxx-0x, 152-xxxx-0x, 153-xxxx-0x, 156-xxxx-0x, 160-xxxx-0x, 214-xxxx-0x, 307-xxxx-0x, 352-xxxx-0x. Book also has reference data for Tek's part numbering system. Everything in silicon that they used, plus warnings and update / upgrade suggestions.
This data book has data and cross-reference FROM Tek part numbers TO Generic actual JEDEC part numbers and REVERSE. There are also hints and tips for designing with various devices. Tradeoffs, preferred parts and obsoletes are listed, and there is some information on Tektronix-Made parts as well.

Catalog has cost codes for most parts as well.
Two PDFs of the Catalog are provided, in two resolutions. One is pretty much entirely done in 300 dpi b/w, since it's text or large drawings, and the other is our usual text-searchable resource PDF.
The chapters are bookmarked, and the tables of contents are hyperlinked, making this easier to find your way around than the original paper version. Please do check out the sample file, which contains one page (random) from each chapter.
2. The Tektronix-Made Integrated Circuits Catalog:
Click HERE for a sample PDF with the table of contents, the indexes, and two data sheet sets. The sample PDF pages are extracted directly from the PDF you'll receive. The sample PDF is about a megabyte and a half in size, so please give it time to load.
The item title is "Tek-Made Integrated Circuits Catalog." It has 8 chapters (see below) and is over 300 pages of valuable parts information. It was published by Tekronix for 1983/1984. This is a very valuable resource for getting specifications on those hard to find Tektronix made integrated circuits.
Check the samples PDF for the indexes with the exact parts that are and aren't covered in this document.
5. Packaged Parts (Data Sheets)
Of course the information in some chapters will be of little use to you (yet it's neat reading to see how a truly great company operates) but the info in chapters 5 and 6 can mean the difference between functionality or non-functionality for some of this fine older equipment.
Please be aware that this document is locked against editing, which is something we never do with the very high resolution versions of my manuals but are required to do by the consignor of some Application Notes, catalogs, reference works and etceteras. This means that you can't extract pages separately (printing individal pages, individual data sets, or the entire book is no problem, though) or insert new pages into the document, and also means you're stuck with the bookmarking and hyperlinking we deemed appropriate for the document. However, please be assured that there are no shareware begging letters or other such faults in the document. If you wish to know more about why this document is locked, click the link behind the words "is locked against editing" above.
